Our shipping is done via UPS or CANPAR. Deliveries are made between 9 and 6 EST Monday to Friday. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed, unless SELECT shipping is chosen. SELECT service does not apply between December 22 and January 2. Shipment times reflect business days. Shipping to remote locations in Canada, may require more time and an increase in shipping costs. Non Delivery/Re-Delivery If a recipient is not home when a gift is delivered, and it is a house or business, a note will be left on the door instructing the recipient to either call the number provided to arrange for delivery or to sign the note with instructions on where to leave the gift for a re-delivery attempt the following business day. Due to their nature, no such notice will be left at apartments or office buildings. After two attempts, the gift will be returned to us. We will inform you immediately for further delivery instructions. An extra delivery charge will apply.Incorrect Address There is a $15.00 CAD (plus 6% GST – depending on your location) surcharge for gifts that must be rerouted or require changes once the package has left our warehouse. There is a service charge of $20.00 CAD (plus 6%GST – depending on your location) for gifts that are returned to us due to address error plus the cost of resending the gift ($15.$55.or $95.plus GST (if applicable) depending on the method chosen). NSR (No Signature Required) We will, if requested by you, leave a gift on the porch or by the back door with a "NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED" sticker. However, we assume no responsibility for the package against theft, weather, or any other occurrence, once the package has been left in the requested location. Substitutions Please note that extreme volume at certain busy times of the year can cause a product in your basket to be substituted. We reserve the right to substitute products dependent on current inventory on hand at time of booking. Subs could also be made to accommodate extreme weather conditions if it is too cold or too hot to ship a particular food item. Subs are always of equal or greater value of that purchased and within the theme of the gift. Wine is best shipped Expedited or Express Service during cold winter months. Chocolate can be regularly subbed during warm summer months. . |
